Job Description

A Production Warehouse Associate ensures the smooth flow of goods by combining inventory management with manufacturing support. Key duties include receiving, inspecting, and storing materials, operating production machinery, assembling/packing finished products, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. It is a physically active role often requiring lifting up to 50lbs and standing for long periods. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Production Support: Assemble, package, and label goods, operate production machinery (e.g., pleaters, assembly tools), and monitor product flow on assembly lines. 
  • Inventory & Logistics: Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, inspect for damage, and update inventory records using RF scanners or computers. 
  • Shipping & Receiving: Pull, stage, and deliver materials to production lines; pack final orders and load goods onto trailers. 
  • Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols (PPE), maintain a clean, organized work area, and report quality issues, inventory shortages, or equipment malfunctions. 
  • Equipment Operation: Safely use, maintain, and troubleshoot warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners. 
Requirements & Skills
  • Education: High school diploma or GED is often preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments is highly valued.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts (8-10+ hours), walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency for inventory software (e.g., MS Office) and experience with RF scanners.
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, reliability, ability to work in a fast-paced team, and strong communication skills. 
Work Environment
  • Roles are typically based on-site in manufacturing plants, distribution centers, or cleanrooms.
  • Environment can be loud, fast-paced, and involve varying temperatures.
  • Positions may require working 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, including overtime.
