Shift Leader

Zaxby's is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations in our fast-paced, guest-focused restaurant. In this role, you'll lead team members during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate orders, and adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards. You'll oversee cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and help manage inventory and prep. As a working leader, you will coach and support crew members, resolve guest concerns with Southern hospitality, and model Zaxby's values while preparing for growth into higher management opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support restaurant team members during assigned shifts
• Deliver friendly, accurate, and timely guest service
• Oversee food preparation to meet quality and safety standards
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant
• Handle cash, balance drawers, and manage POS transactions
• Execute opening and closing procedures as assigned
• Assist with inventory counts, stocking, and prep planning
• Train and coach new and existing team members on procedures and standards
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and Southern hospitality
• Communicate shift performance, issues, and needs to management
