Shift Leader

Zaxby's is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You will lead and support team members on shift, ensuring friendly service, accurate orders, and adherence to food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, overseeing food prep and drive-thru, monitoring cleanliness, handling cash and POS, and assisting with training. You will model Zaxby's Southern hospitality, resolve guest concerns, and help maintain a positive, growth-focused culture with opportunities to advance into management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support restaurant team members during assigned shifts
• Ensure friendly, accurate, and efficient guest service in dining room and drive-thru
• Oversee food preparation, holding, and presentation to meet quality standards
• Monitor and maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant
• Assist with shift task delegation, station coverage, and break scheduling
• Handle cash, POS operations, and basic cash reconciliation at shift change
• Support training and onboarding of new team members
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Help execute opening and closing procedures according to company standards
• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture aligned with Zaxby's values
