Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and determine appropriate treatments for a range of mental health disorders
• Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient care, from initiation to completion
• Monitor and report on treatment progress and adjust strategies as necessary
• Offer crisis intervention and emergency services when required
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and adherence to professional standards, state laws, and regulations
• Engage in continuous education to keep up-to-date with the latest in psychiatric practices and treatments
