Plumbing Superintendent

R.T. Moore Co., Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent I to oversee plumbing installation on residential and multi-family construction projects. This role leads field crews, coordinates manpower, materials, and schedules, and ensures work meets plans, codes, and company quality and safety standards. The Superintendent collaborates with project managers, inspectors, and site leadership, solves onsite issues, and helps train apprentices. You'll model craftsmanship and integrity while driving productivity, documentation, and punch-list completion on time and within budget for high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plumbing crews on residential and multi-family construction projects
• Plan daily work, manpower, and material needs to meet schedules and budgets
• Interpret blueprints, specs, and plumbing codes to guide installation
• Inspect work for quality, code compliance, and safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers, GCs, and inspectors to resolve site issues
• Maintain site documentation, reports, and as-built information
• Enforce company safety policies and lead jobsite safety meetings
• Train and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers
• Oversee testing, startup, and punch-list completion
• Support continuous improvement in productivity and workmanship
