New Job Details NocturnistLocation: Orange County, CASpecialty: Internal Medicine, NocturnistDuration: December 1, 2025 February 28, 2026 (potential to extend)Schedule: 6-12 shifts per month (must be available for at least 5 shifts per month to be considered)Shift: Monday Sunday, 7p-7a (day shifts are not an option at this time)Call: noneScope of practice: nocturnist - on-site evaluation, management, and treatment of adult patients admitted to the hospital, facilitate all admissions.-Responsible for direct admissions from clinics and outside hospitals-Complete admissions by revaluating patients and completing admit orders-You will be part of the team (ICU Physician, Rapid Response Nurse Practitioner) that will respond to all Code Blue (CB) & Rapid Response (RR)-You will respond promptly to all pages and calls unless you manage CB/RREMR: EPICHospital: stand-alone cancer center with evaluation treatment center: 60-63 beds to start (73 bed capability); 8 bed ICU (20 bed capacity); 8 ETC bedsRequirements (boards): BC in Internal Medicine w/California license. Drive in provider strongly preferred. At least 5+ shifts per month are available. Clean NPDB. Epic experience. Currently doing or has done nocturnist work in the last 12 months.
