Locums - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) St. Louis, Missouri(IMLC Accepted Inpatient Rehab Maternity Leave Coverage)Position OverviewSeeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist to provide locum coverage in a hospital-based acute rehab unit in St. Louis, MO. This role offers consistent coverage blocks, strong team support, and a manageable inpatient census.Dates Needed
  • Nov 27 - Nov 30, 2025
  • Dec 19, 2025 - Jan 1, 2026
  • Jan 31 - May 2, 2026 (7 on / 7 off schedule for maternity leave coverage)
Schedule & Clinical Details
  • Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
    • Round on patients from 8:00 AM - 3:00/4:00 PM
  • Saturday/Sunday: On-call availability
  • Duties:
    • Daily rounding and admissions
    • Lead team conference meetings
    • Complete inpatient rehab documentation (H&Ps, 4-day POC, progress notes, discharge summaries)
Facility & Work Details
  • Setting: In-house acute rehab unit (hospital-based)
  • Unit Size: 18 beds (2nd floor of main hospital)
  • Average Census: 10-12 patients (max 18)
  • Patient Population: Adult
  • Support Staff: Nursing, Intake Team, PT, OT, SLP, Specialty Consults
  • Special Procedures: None
  • EMR: Epic
Requirements
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in PM&R - Required
  • License: Active Missouri license or IMLC accepted
  • DEA: Required
  • Experience: New grads accepted; experience preferred
