Manufacturing Associate

TKC - Kodi Collective LLC seeks a Manufacturing Associate - Finishing/Bindery to support production of high-quality printed and packaged materials for government and defense clients. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor bindery and finishing equipment, including cutters, folders, stitchers, and binders, ensuring jobs meet precise specifications, security requirements, and quality standards. You'll inspect output, perform basic equipment maintenance, document job details, and collaborate with a mission-focused, tech-forward team committed to reliability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor finishing and bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, binders).
• Set up machines per job specifications, including paper, layout, and finishing settings.
• Inspect output for print, cut, and bind quality; correct issues and maintain standards.
• Follow production schedules and document job tickets, counts, and materials used.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, minor maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Adhere to safety, security, and quality protocols for government and defense work.
• Collaborate with production, print, and logistics teams to meet deadlines.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished materials for shipment.
• Track inventory of bindery materials and notify leads of supply needs.
• Support process improvements and adoption of new finishing technologies.
