Mammography Coordinator

Good Samaritan Health Center in Atlanta seeks a Mammography Coordinator to oversee scheduling, workflows, and quality for mammography services in our faith-based, community clinic. This role manages daily operations, supports technologists and radiologists, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes patient-centered, trauma-informed care for underserved women. The Coordinator optimizes access, maintains high imaging and documentation standards, and collaborates across disciplines to advance health equity and whole-person care in a compassionate, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily mammography schedules and patient flow
• Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, and state imaging regulations
• Oversee image quality, documentation, and QA processes
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff
• Educate and support patients through screening and diagnostic workflows
• Track performance metrics and support process improvement
• Maintain accurate records in PACS/RIS and EHR systems
• Support outreach and education initiatives for breast health
