Lead Cashier

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a friendly, reliable Cashier to deliver fast, accurate, and welcoming checkout experiences in our Customer Service & Support team. You'll greet guests, process purchases, handle cash and electronic payments, and answer questions about our fresh, natural, and organic products. Working on the front line, you represent Sprouts' commitment to healthy living, sustainability, and community. You'll keep your lane clean, help bag groceries, support teammates across the store, and learn about natural foods in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers and provide prompt, friendly checkout service
• Operate POS systems to process cash, card, and digital payments accurately
• Handle cash, make change, and balance transactions with minimal errors
• Answer basic questions about Sprouts products, sales, and store layout
• Bag groceries carefully, ensuring food safety and product protection
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area
• Follow all store policies, including loss prevention and cash-handling procedures
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high customer service standards
• Support Sprouts' focus on healthy living, natural foods, and sustainability
• Assist with light merchandising, price checks, and restocking near the front end
