It's Reid with Amergis, reaching out because a well-established outpatient clinic in Dixon, California is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity. This is a premium position offering a consistent weekday schedule and the potential for long-term extension.

Position Highlights:

• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• Duration: 6 months with potential to extend up to 1 year
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient Primary Care

Requirements:

• Board Certification (ABFM or ABIM)
• Active California medical license
• DEA and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
• Educate patients and coordinate specialist referrals
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers
