Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for ongoing locum coverage at a hospital in Weslaco, TX. This is part of a new system transition with long-term coverage needs.

This opportunity offers structured scheduling, consistent volume, and strong operational support.

Schedule & Coverage
• 8 or 10-hour shifts
• Ongoing coverage (12 FTE need)
• July 2026 start
• Flexible scheduling blocks available

Clinical Details
• Emergency Department setting
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• EPIC EMR
• Hospital-based environment
• Collaborative team structure

Minimum Requirements
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred)
• Active Texas medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Current ACLS / ATLS / PALS
• Clean background and credentialing history
