Job Description

Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity 12-Hour Shifts in Alabama


We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage at a 150-bed, Level III Trauma Center in Alabama.

Details:

  • Dates Needed: Start ASAP- through 2026 (6-month locums - a year contract)
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
  • Patient Volume: 37,00040,000 visits annually
  • Certifications Required: ATLS & PALS
  • Trauma: Acute trauma cases are stabilized and transferred to a tertiary facility
  • Ongoing Need: Coverage needed until a permanent physician is hired
