Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver

Hogan1 is currently seeking highly motivated and dedicated CDL-A Truck Drivers to join our reputable team in the transportation and logistics department. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients, adhering to optimized routes and schedules. Our drivers are not just behind the wheel; they are the cornerstone of our commitment to efficiency and value in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods, livestock, or materials to and from specified destinations.
• Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to report all events that affect the operations.
• Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with fuel, checking oil, keeping it clean, and ensuring required inspections are performed.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations, as well as local, state, and federal laws regarding transportation of goods.

Required Skills

• Proven experience operating tractor-trailer units.
• Proficient in using GPS and other routing systems.
• An understanding of maintenance and repair processes for transportation vehicles.
• Strong logistical and time management skills.
