Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck and adhere to all company and federal safety regulations.
• Transport goods to and from specified locations on assigned routes, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving times, deliveries, and rest periods, complying with hours of service regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, coordinating as necessary with the logistics team.
• Manage documentation associated with cargo, route, and fuel expenses.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics management to resolve any operational issues.
