Clinic Radiologic Technologist

Good Samaritan Health Center in Atlanta seeks a Clinic Radiologic Technologist to provide compassionate, high-quality diagnostic imaging for underserved patients in a faith-based, community clinic. The technologist will perform routine and urgent X-ray exams, safely operate and maintain imaging equipment, and follow ALARA and infection control standards. Responsibilities include positioning and educating patients, verifying orders, documenting in the EHR, and collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health teams. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures following physician orders and safety protocols
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures with compassion and cultural sensitivity
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring high-quality images
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control policies
• Verify patient identity and medical history; document procedures in the EHRCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support treatment plans
• Assist in scheduling, patient flow, and exam room readiness for clinic operations
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and quality control documentation
• Support trauma, urgent, and walk-in imaging needs as required
• Contribute to a mission-driven, faith-based environment focused on health equity
