Cast Member

City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support and small-group tutoring in core subjects
• Mentor and build positive relationships with students
• Support students' social-emotional development and engagement
• Assist with planning and leading after-school programs and activities
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to align student support
• Track and report on student progress and participation
• Promote an inclusive, positive, and safe school climate
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Engage with families and community partners as appropriate
• Model City Year's values of service, equity, and collaboration
