Cast Member

City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group academic tutoring to students during and after school
• Support teachers with classroom management and positive learning environments
• Mentor students to build social-emotional skills, attendance, and engagement
• Assist with planning and leading school-wide events and activities
• Collect and track student progress data to inform support strategies
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team and school staff to meet goals
• Communicate regularly with supervisors about student progress and challenges
• Participate in City Year training, coaching, and leadership development sessions
• Engage families and community partners in school-based initiatives
• Model City Year's values of inclusivity, respect, and commitment to educational equity
