City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and after-school academic support to students in math and English/language arts
• Build positive, mentoring relationships with students to support social-emotional growth
• Track and report student progress using established tools and data systems
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to plan and deliver interventions
• Support whole-school events, attendance initiatives, and community-building activities
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and professional development sessions
• Work effectively within a diverse team aligned to City Year's mission and values
