Cast Member

City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support and small-group tutoring in core subjects to help students stay on track academically
• Build positive relationships and mentor students to support their social-emotional growth
• Monitor student attendance and engagement, implementing strategies to improve participation
• Assist teachers with classroom activities, behavior support, and learning routines
• Plan and facilitate after-school or extended learning programs and enrichment activities
• Collect and track student progress data to inform supports and interventions
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team, school staff, and community partners
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development sessions
• Support school-wide events, family engagement activities, and service projects
• Model City Year's values of social justice, inclusion, and student-centered leadership
