Cast Member

City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide daily in-class support and small group or one on one tutoring in core subjects.
• Build positive, mentoring relationships that promote students' social-emotional growth.
• Track and report student progress using school and City Year tools.
• Collaborate with teachers to reinforce lessons and classroom routines.
• Lead or assist with after-school, enrichment, or attendance initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and leadership development.
• Engage families and school staff to support student success.
• Model City Year's values of equity, inclusion, and service.
