City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects to support student academic achievement
• Support classroom instruction by collaborating with teachers and reinforcing lessons
• Monitor and encourage student attendance, participation, and engagement in school
• Lead or assist with after-school and enrichment programs focused on academics and leadership
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students, families, and school staff
• Model professional behavior, leadership, and a commitment to social justice and inclusion
• Collect basic student progress data and support tracking of outcomes for program reporting
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development sessions
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
