City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic and behavior support to students
• Tutor students one-on-one and in small groups
• Track and report student progress using established tools
• Support teachers with classroom activities and school events
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff
• Participate in training, reflection, and team meetings
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and equitable learning environment
• Engage in community service projects and school-based initiatives
