Job Description

We are a family owned, well-known bakery & cafe in Glendale. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Custodian to help keep our restaurant & all areas on the property clean. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant — including the kitchen, dining area, floors, dishes, restrooms, work stations, and any other areas as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools

  • Keep kitchen and prep areas clean, sanitized, and organized

  • Sweep and mop floors throughout the restaurant

  • Empty trash and recycling bins regularly

  • Wipe down surfaces, workstations, and equipment

  • Clean restrooms and maintain basic supplies

  • Help with basic cleaning tasks as needed before, during, and after service

  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

  • Must be dependable, on time, and ready to work

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Team player with a positive attitude

  • Prior experience is required.
