Automotive Technician

Cox Automotive is seeking an Automotive Technician for Manheim Phoenix. In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of vehicles to meet auction and retail-ready standards. You'll perform mechanical and basic electrical work, routine maintenance, and safety inspections using modern diagnostic tools. Working in a collaborative, people-first shop environment, you will document repairs accurately, follow strict safety and quality procedures, and help optimize vehicle turnaround times. Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicles for auction readiness
• Perform routine maintenance, including brakes, tires, fluids, and basic electrical work
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve mechanical and electronic issues
• Document work performed and parts used in accordance with company standards
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality guidelines in all repair activities
• Collaborate with service advisors, lot operations, and inspection teams to meet turn-time goals
• Support continuous improvement of shop processes and productivity
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe condition
