Assistant Property Manager
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of NYC property management experience and be proactive and detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and maintenance requests professionally.
- Coordinate with supers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Prepare and distribute resident communications and email blasts.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor building conditions and curb appeal.
- Prepare and review maintenance contracts.
- Manage and clear violations from HPD, DOB, DSNY, FDNY, and other agencies.
- Utilize NYC compliance portals (HPD Online, DOB NOW, eFiling) to certify violations.
- Ensure compliance with Local Laws 11, 88, 97, and 152.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
- 1-3 years of NYC property management experience.
- Strong knowledge of NYC housing laws and codes (MDL, HPD, DOB, DHCR, FDNY, DSNY).
- Familiarity with Local Laws 11, 88, 97, 152, and lead paint regulations.
- Experience with HPD Online, DOB NOW, eFiling, and property management software (Yardi, RealPage, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Real Estate preferred.
