Apple is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance professional to join the Worldwide Operations Financial Planning and Analysis team. The ideal candidate should possess a high level of initiative, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively with Apple Finance and the Ops business in a fast-paced work environment. This candidate should also have the ability to learn quickly, perform detailed analyses, provide value-add insights and respond to changing business needs. The ability to successfully deal with ambiguity is critical.
Description:
This position is part of the Operations Finance Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, and will be responsible for overseeing the Operation’s SOX program, as well as supporting the Operation’s business partner spend.
Oversee the Operation’s SOX compliance program:
Partner with business to monitor key processes/controls and document changes as necessary
Coordinate testing and reviews for key SOX controls and assist with remediation efforts
Understand, evaluate and provide recommendations for improvement of the internal control environment
Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry standards
Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst for Worldwide Operations Financial, Planning, and analysis include:
Planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting and analysis of Worldwide Operations cost center expense and headcount
Collaboration and interface with WW Operations business managers on financial issues and forecasting
Facilitation and coordination of regular budget meetings with business partners
Providing insight on spending issues and project activity in line with current financial policies
Overseeing maintenance of financial forecast tool and cost center hierarchies

Key Qualifications:
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical/problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
•High degree of enthusiasm, innovation and dedication
•In depth knowledge and experience in SOX, COSO framework and US GAAP
•Attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast paced work environment
•Background in accounting and audit as well as an ability to understand, document and analyze processes for risk from a SOX and business perspective
•Experience in product cost accounting a plus
•Strong financial systems and business application skills including SAP, Essbase, BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), Business Objects, Excel, Filemaker, and Keynote
•Experience in financial planning, forecasting, accounting and auditing is a plus
•CPA Certification is preferred
Education:
The ideal candidate will have a relevant undergraduate degree (i.e. accounting, finance, business/operations).
