The Job
The Opportunity Network (OppNet) seeks a high-performing, mission-oriented individual to join its collaborative OppNet Partnerships program team. This position is a part of team that is converting a track record of successful pilots into a major program area for the organization. OppNet’s Career Fluency® Partnerships is at the leading edge of the college and career readiness field. This position offers a unique combination of entrepreneurial opportunity in a well-established organization. The Partnerships Coordinator will report to the Career Fluency® Manager and will assist with optimizing the training experience of frontline staff at partner institutions/school and coordinate the details and tasks of each partnership engagement seamlessly and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that is expanding an innovative program model. The coordinator will play an essential role in formalizing the systems to sustain this growth and ensure a high quality experience for partners. The Organization
Founded in 2003, OppNet levels the playing field for historically underrepresented students by providing access to college, career opportunities, and professional networks. Our approach to college access and success is differentiated in its explicit emphasis on career exploration and readiness as critical tools necessary to lead students to persist and graduate from college and achieve long-term success. OppNet Partnerships is an intensive capacity-building program that works with schools and youth-serving organizations to adapt and integrate OppNet’s college and career programming into their services in order to amplify college and career outcomes for their own students.

The Person
The ideal candidate will personally connect to the important work we do and value diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the organization. The candidate should possess outstanding professionalism and discretion, organization and attention to detail, energy and initiative, the ability to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks on time, and a willingness to work on a wide range of assignments.
The Partnerships Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
• Produce MOUs and scopes of work for each partner;
• Produce timelines, workflows, and work plans for each active partnership;
• Schedule trainings, meetings, site visits, and check-in calls for each partner;
• Ensure that all meeting, training, and assessment materials are accessible to OppNet Partnerships team and each partner team;
• Update internal database with key Partnerships’ milestones, outputs, and outcomes;
• Work closely with each partner to ensure timely execution of data collection and reporting;
• Co-facilitate interactive trainings for teachers and frontline staff designated to deliver Career Fluency®
• Conduct site visits to partnership sites to conduct instruction observations and provide on-site technical assistance as it relates to the curriculum;
o Troubleshoot with partner organizations and provide feedback on quality control and student engagement
• Adapt Career Fluency® curriculum to meet the needs of OppNet Partnerships;
• Support OppNet’s online curriculum portal by monitoring analytics and user feedback and providing technical
assistance as it relates to OppNet Partnerships; and
• Provide support to OppNet Partnerships team as necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
• 2 – 3 years of demonstrated project management experience;
• Strong verbal, written, and oral communication skills;
• Outstanding organizational skills; detail-oriented;
• Well-versed in data-driven practices;
• Self-starter; comfortable operating in growth mode and wearing many hats; experience working collaboratively as part of a team;
• Experience and comfort working with executive leadership teams and frontline staff concurrently;
• Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, internet research, e-mail, and Google Apps for Business;
• Ability and willingness to work on some weekday evenings, select weekends, and occasionally, overnight trips to
partner sites across the nation;
• Demonstrated belief in The Opportunity Network’s mission; and
• Likes to get things done!
