The MQM (Manufacturing Quality Management) team is looking for an NPI PM (New Product Introduction Project Manager) responsible for driving the readiness of data collection and reporting for Apple’s products around the world. As part of the MQM team, you will be pivotal to ensure our data collection systems are ready for the new product requirements during its many lifecycles (proto through sustaining). The MQM ecosystem includes collecting data, movement of data and access to data from our manufacturing sites and process.

Description:
We are seeking a passionate self-starter with the ability to think creatively. You should have a track record and passion for understanding business needs, problem solving and developing solutions that drive results. A successful NPI PM is a leader; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; communicates with ease at all levels; thrive in an ambiguous environment; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts; manages through relationships and influence, and maintains a positive attitude.

As the NPI PM, you will be responsible for requirements elicitation related to product manufacturing/testing, master data management, new data views for reporting/metrics from both internal and external clients. After assembling this information, you will then evaluate the information gathered and distinguish between individual wants and actual business needs, setting the priority of the activities in support of new products. This position represents an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled individual with experience working on complex products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Upfront engagement and collaborates with product, test and assembly teams to ensure that MQM is aligned with product needs.

- Planning capacity needs, new data requirements, and data views across sites / products.

- Understand data needs from finished goods through the modules in the Supply Chain for building the products and how they interact with each other.

- Assess current business processes for improvement opportunities. Develop time dependency models for key launch activities and impacts on systems.

- Lead brainstorming sessions with cross-functional partners to identify and document opportunities for process improvement and re-engineering efforts.

- Able to communicate implications of test and process design choices on data completeness and accuracy in the ecosystem.

- New Product Introduction, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations experience.

- Ability to work in a very matrixed environment.

- Responsible for Documentation, Training, and UAT.
Skills:  
Key Qualifications:
•Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in highly technical field
•Exceptional interpersonal skills
•Strong Excel skills, including pivots, vlookups, conditional formatting, large record sets.
•Familiarity with databases, large data sets, reporting and SQL a plus.
•Proven relationship building and ability to effectively influence peers and management
•Self-starter and able to seek out new problems then develop and implement solutions
•A strong sense of ownership
•Able to develop and present complex problems in a simple way.
•Ability to quickly switch between details and the big picture.
•Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to management.
•International travel 20-30% and work hour flexibility required in this fast paced, global position.
•Experience with a global company and virtual teams is required
•Highly desirable to have high tech manufacturing related education / experience (but not required)

Education:
- BS Degree or equivalent degree, MBA is considered a plus.
