The Location, Motion and Connectivity group is looking for an Executive Assistant. This team works on a very diverse set of technologies, and because these technologies are so fundamental and critical to Apple, they impact all of Apple’s products. They work on every OS platform (iPhone/iPad, watchOS, macOS, and tvOS), including accessory products like AirPods. They focus on Location, Motion, Bluetooth, and WiFi, and powering experiences. The leader of this awesome team needs an executive assistant to support him and supervise a group of amazing administrative assistants. This position requires a tenacious self-starter who can anticipate needs & take action to solve problems independently. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people across multiple job functions and levels.

Description:
-Positive, proactive, and approachable personality.
-Poised under pressure with the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice.
-You have 5 plus years of experience supporting executives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
-You can advocate for your decisions and can say "no" to support your executives's schedule when needed.
-You are creative, thoughtful, take problems and dissect it for solutions, better yet, you can foresee it coming and are three steps ahead.
-Ability to influence others; handle conflict appropriately, know when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense.
-Ability to work independently and handle frequently changing needs.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Proven problem solving abilities and the ability to anticipate change and act efficiently.
-A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with people at all levels is imperative.
-The ability to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group is essential.
-Prior management or supervisor experience.
-You have experience with a Mac, as well as with Keynote, Numbers, Pages, Excel, Word, and other productivity tools
Skills:  
Key Qualifications:
•Planning and calendar management including coordination of complex meetings with multiple executives and locations will be a majority of the focus.
•As the point of contact for the calendar, you will work closely with other EA’s, project managers, and team leaders (inside and outside of Apple) to schedule meetings.
•You will exercise flexibility and problem-solving abilities to adjust and prioritize schedules based on frequent, last-minute changes.
•Organize domestic and international travel and submit expense reports.
•Attend staff meetings, take and send out meeting notes.
•Organize a variety of events (both business and social) throughout the year.
•Support day to day needs including: escorting people in and out of secured areas for meetings, providing lunches, printing documents, and other tasks to make the day run smoothly.
•Supervise a team of Administrative Assistants: run staff meetings, create and align team goals, champion career growth, foster innovation while keeping some continuity between teams across the organization, provide team with feedback throughout the year, give annual reviews, hire and train new members.

Education:
BS degree or equivalent experience required.
