In 2020, Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations are uniquely positioned to engage and mobilize these voters.

We have built an electoral program to meet the moment and the stakes at hand. Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations launched their largest-ever electoral effort for the 2020 cycle, making strategic investments to take back the Senate, the White House, state legislatures, and defeat harmful ballot measures across the country.

Community Outreach Group is seeking a Data Services Associate. This role on the Community Outreach Data and Analytics team will be responsible for providing Data Systems Administration Support in conjunction with Planned Parenthood Votes and Action Fund teams for Hustle, VAN, and Outvote. This position will also interface with COG state directors and other staff on tools support and coaching.



Responsibilities

● Develop specific training and best practice resources on Hustle in conjunction with Data Services Specialist, Digital Organizing team, and Digital Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Team

● Provide triage and support for Hustle, as well as VAN, and Outvote as needed

● Conduct compliance audits/tracking for appropriate Hustle usage, tags, etc. Monitor message caps and current usage to prevent unexpected overages.

● Provide timely, comprehensive support and training to staff on data management systems, field data management best practices utilizing VAN, EveryAction, and peer-to-peer texting tools.

● Maintain documentation and disseminate tool-use best practices

● Assist with synchronization of digital and field data platforms

● Provide input on and enforce the use of best practices in the development of training curricula

Qualifications

1-3 years of progressively responsible professional experience is required.
1 year of experience as a high-level user in VAN or VoteBuilder is required.
Ideal candidate will be comfortable with SQL and using Civis Platform.
Ideal candidates will have at least 1 election cycle of experience working with advocacy or electoral campaign data tools in a professional setting.
Intermediate l‹nowledpe of Advanced Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software is required
Experience managing user support or customer service via support tickets is highly desirable.

There is no formal education requirement for this position.


Compensation
This is a full-time, exempt, entry-level position with the Community Outreach Group, with an annual base salary of $52,000. Full-time exempt employees are also eligible for a cell phone reimbursement up to $75/month, and employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance. This is a short-term position with an expected end date of December 31, 2020.
